THERAPEUTIC ACTIONS:
- Relieve back, chest, side pain.
- Cure inflammation and regulate the functioning of the heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidneys…
INDICATIONS :
Abdominal distension, discordance of the spleen, vomiting, indigestion, cholera, dysentery, intercostal neuralgia, diseases of the viscera (heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidneys).
ASSOCIATIONS :
The Zhangmen Acupoint can be combined with other acupoints to increase therapeutic potential:
- Combined with Bi Can acupoints (Extraodinaire acupoint), Qimen acupoint LV14 and Weishu acupoint BL21 to treat hookworms, enlarged liver and spleen
- Combined with Geshu acupoint BL17 and Shangwan acupoint CV13 to treat food vomiting
- Combined with Geshu acupoint BL17, Lieque acupoint LU7, Dadun acupoint LV1, Sanjiaoshu acupoint BL22, Shenshu acupoint BL23 and Pishu acupoint BL20 to treat hematuria
- Combined with Zhigou acupoint TE6 and Yuanye acupoint GB22 to treat acne
- Combined with Zhigou acupoint TE6, Yanglingquan acupoint GB34 and Weizhong acupoint BL40 to treat typhoid but flank pain
- Combined with Zhaohai acupoint KD6 and Taibai acupoint SP3 to treat constipation
- Combined with Yangjiao acupoint GB35 and Shimen acupoint CV5 to treat restlessness, upside down qi
- Combined with Rangu acupoint KI2 to treat acute glomerulonephritis
