It is the 44th point of the stomach meridian.
Abbreviated in English : ST44
THERAPEUTIC ACTIONS:
Opens and lowers stomach qi, clears and cools stomach, regulates heat, regulates air, relieves pain, regulates large intestine, neutralizes stagnation.
INDICATIONS
Facial paralysis, headache, toothache, nose bleeds, stomach bleeds, enteritis, abdominal distention, cholera, dysentery, swollen instep, fever without sweating.
ASSOCIATIONS :
- Combined with Zhangmen acupoint LV13 treats cold limbs, excessive sweating, weakness… in severe stage of typhoid.
- Combined with Gongsun acupoint SP4 and Lidui acupoint ST45 treats malaria, chills, loss of appetite.
- Combined with Gongsun acupoint SP4 and Zusanli acupoint ST36 treats spleen weakness, abdominal distension.
- Combined with Jiexi acupoint ST41, Xiangu acupoint ST43, Lidui acupoint ST45 and Chongyang acupoint ST42 treats boils growing from beard around the mouth.
- Combined with Huantiao acupoint GB30 acupoint for shin pain.
- Combined with the He Gu acupoint LI4 treats edema, boils in the intestines.
- Combined with He Gu acupoint LI4 treats sore teeth due to qi heat, swollen gums, inflamed tonsil.
- Combined with Lidui acupoint ST45 and Tianshu acupoint ST25 treats indigestion, lack of appetite.
- Combined with the Sanyinjiao acupoint SP6 treat menstrual pain.
- Combined with Sanyinjiao acupoint SP6 and Zusanli acupoint ST36 for distended lower abdomen.
- Combined with the Zusanli acupoint ST36 for abdominal pain.
- Combined with Shangxing acupoint DU23 for sore eyes.
- Combined with the Zulinqi acupoint GB41 treats the distended lower abdomen.
- Combined with the Zusanli acupoint ST36 treats farting difficulty.
- Combined with Bailao acupoint EX-HN17 (Gently stimulated), He Gu LI4 acupoint and Fuliu acupoint KD7 (Strongly stimulated Neiting acupoint ST44) treat typhoid without sweat.
