THERAPEUTIC ACTIONS:
The Shenmen acupoint works to dispel fire throughout the body, release heat from the mind, lull to sleep, honor and control negative qi.
INDICATIONS :
Shenmen acupoint is indicated for the treatment of diseases such as insanity, epilepsy, eclampsia, shock, memory impairment, panic attacks, sleep disturbances, anorexia, constipation. ..
ASSOCIATIONS
- Combined with SP1, KI3 and PC7 acupoints to treat vomiting blood, bloody stools.
- Combined with DU20 and PC6 acupoints to treat anxiety and restlessness.
- Combined with BL43, TE2, PC6 and ST41 acupoints to treat forgetfulness, insomnia, nervousness.
- Combined with DU9, SP4, BL19, BL27, SI4 and BL40 acupoints to treat alcoholic jaundice (due to alcohol consumption, eyes and whole body are yellow), heart pain, red face and urinary retention.
- Combined with CV14 and LV5 acupoints to treat shortness of breath, anxiety and fear.
- Combined with KI1, LU11 and BL15 acupoints to treat stupidity (Mental stagnation, reduced intellect, is a kind of serious intellectual hindrance).
- Combined with SI5 acupoint to treat mania, or often laughing for no reason.
- Combined with GB34 (point to point SP9), PC6 and BL15 acupoints to treat irregular heartbeats.
- Combined with GB34, PC6, KI2 and HT9 acupoints to treat heart pain and palpitations.
- Combined with CV6, CV12 and ST36 acupoints to treat weakness and anxiety.
- Combined with PC6 and SP6 acupoints to treat insomnia, nervous breakdown.
