The acupuncture point is at the bottom (radical) of the breast (mammary gland), so it is called “The root of the breast” (Rugen).

INDICATIONS :
Weak lactation, mastitis, chest pain, cough, asthma, tracheitis.
ASSOCIATIONS :
- Combined with Zhigou TE6 acupoint, Shanzhong CV17 acupoint, Qihai CV6 acupoint, Zhongwan CV12 acupoint and Zusanli ST36 acupoint for hemoptysis.
- Combined with Shufu KD27 acupoint for cough, phlegm and asthma.
- Combined with Shanzhong CV17 acupoint and Shaoze SI1 acupoint treat bad lactation, lack of milk.
- Combined with Shanzhong CV17 acupoint and Shaoze SI1 acupoint for the treatment of acute mastitis.
- Combined with Shanzhong CV17 acupoint, Qihai CV6 acupoint, Jianjing GB21 acupoint, Qimen LV14 acupoint, Fengmen BL12 acupoint, Sanyinjiao SP6 acupoint, Chengjiang CV24 acupoint, Zhongfu LU1 acupoint, l Zhongwan CV12 acupoint and Zusanli ST36 acupoint treat nausea, vomiting.
- Combined with Shanzhong CV17 acupoint, Quepen acupoint ST12, Feishu acupoint BL13, Fengmen acupoint BL12 and Zusanli acupoint ST36 treat persistent cough.
- Combined with Huangmen BL51 acupoint treatment of inflammatory mammary glands.
